£26,000 FTE per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
Full Time and Part Time applicants considered – minimum 30 hours

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is looking for a Community Fundraiser to support and grow fundraising activities across Cambridgeshire and West Essex. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll work with supporters, volunteers, community groups and local organisations to raise vital funds and awareness for children and young people receiving hospice care and their families.
Working closely with the Senior Community Fundraiser and wider fundraising team, you'll help develop fundraising opportunities, support volunteers, attend community events and ensure supporters receive a positive and engaging experience throughout their fundraising journey.
About the role
As Community Fundraiser, you will:
- Develop and maintain relationships with supporters, community groups and local organisations.
- Encourage and support individuals and groups with fundraising activities.
- Help achieve fundraising objectives across the region.
- Represent EACH at community events, presentations and hospice tours.
- Support and coordinate fundraising volunteers.
- Contribute ideas to help develop inclusive and engaging fundraising activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and other teams.
- Maintain accurate records and supporter information using our database systems.
About you
We're looking for someone who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people and build positive relationships within local communities. You will be organised, proactive and able to balance competing priorities while maintaining a supporter-focused approach.
You will have:
- Experience in a customer, client or community-facing role.
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- An interest in the charity sector and community fundraising.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers.
Additional requirements
- A current valid, full driving licence and access to transport to travel throughout the region.
- Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
